Originally released as standalone graphic novels, The Critical Role: The Mighty Nein Origins Library Edition Volume 1 is an inaugural, oversized collection of the backstory of some of Critical Role Campaign 2’s beloved characters. 

In consultation with the cast of Critical Role, this first of two volumes takes a deep dive into the whimsical, tragic, and sometimes haunting backstories of Jester Lavorre, Yasha Nydoorin,  Caleb Widogast, and Nott the Brave. Discover Jester’s early years as the daughter of the famed Ruby of the Sea, the troubled past of Bren Aldric Eremendrud of the Soltryce Academy, the storms of love and loss for Yasha, Veth Brenatto’s tragic tale of transformation, and so much more!  This hardcover collection features stories and art by fan-favorite Critter creators with an expanded sketchbook section and all-new cover art by Robynn Frauhn.
